Prereading Reflection
What do you expect to learn when you have a substitute teacher?
I expect to learn basically everything that the teacher assigned for us.
What are some strategies substitutes used to teach their classes? Which strategies work? Which do not?
For one, substitute teachers try to explain what's on the page. This really doesn't work since they might get to carried away on it explaining everything, and also providing a story from their past that relates to what's on the page.
